We’ve leveraged our firm’s unique capabilities in the design of marine vessels and floating structures to examine new technologies and approaches to high-speed transportation and floating structures. Much of our research success comes from the single-minded determination of our marine enthusiasts to conquer the elements and tame the fluid environment into a navigable path for people, goods and services.

Our primary research client has been the United States Navy, where much of our effort has been focused on investigating technologies and approaches to high-speed sealift and seabasing. We’ve also investigated riverine assault systems and helped develop software tools for vessel constructability. All this is possible through the federal government’s Small Business Innovation Research program, which leverages the innovation and responsiveness of small firms to solve challenges facing the government. Through our unique, multidisciplinary capabilities, we offer a lot to federal and other clients interested in a capable research partner.
