Research Vessel Fleet Support

For over 25 consecutive years our experts have supplied primary engineering support to the NOAA Pacific Coast Fleet. Our guys know NOAA's fleet inside and out and have worked on all of the 15 vessels ranging in size from 90 feet to 274 feet, stationed on the east and west coasts. They have spent a lot of time perfecting and providing the design required to allow successful accomplishment of alterations and modernization of NOAA commercial and naval vessels. This work has included structural, electrical, mechanical, and naval architectural design services. We have conducted USCG-witnessed inclining experiments and developed Trim and Stability Booklets for many vessels. In conjunction with this, our SNAG (Senior Naval Architect Guru) developed a trim and stability computer program for faster and more convenient on-board use to determine vessel stability characteristics.
