Tacoma Fireboat Renovation

Art Anderson Associates teamed with BMT Nigel Gee and Associates to provide engineering design and consultation for the renovation of the City of Tacoma's fireboat "Commencement". The scope of work includes a trade-off study, feasibility analysis, owner's representation and engineering design of a variety of shipboard systems. The "Commencement" is one of two composite firefighting vessels owned by the City and uses air cushion technology for speed and stability in rough conditions. More Information (PDF)
