Senior Engineering Project Manager

Art Anderson is a multidisciplinary engineering firm that has been producing quality projects for more than 62 years. We are constantly sought out to provide innovative solutions for unique project requirements; frequently including highly complex tasks such as floating structures, shoreside facilities, and underwater utility systems design. Our engineers are always open to inventive design approaches to be applied to both private and government projects. We are looking for a senior engineer who can help us both capture and execute these challenging projects. This position will be engaged in the full project life cycle from planning and design through construction support and close out.

Required: Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering; Washington State PE license, and at least 10 years of experience in engineering and engineering project management in the A/E (building and construction trades) industry.  Experience with project scheduling, budgeting and estimating, project team and resource management/coordination, earned value, design-build and design-bid-build projects, contracts, and work breakdown structures. Candidate must have strong engineering design capabilities.  In addition to being a project manager, candidate may also be the lead engineer on projects, in the discipline of their engineering expertise/licensure.

The candidate must be a self-starter and a great team player.  This individual would have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously; and possess excellent communication, coordination, and people skills.  This position requires advanced computing skills with MS Office and basic knowledge of AutoCAD.

This position will require military base access for project site visits, therefore US Citizenship is required.

Desired:  Advanced degrees; licensure in other states, especially California, Oregon and Alaska; basic knowledge of other engineering disciplines; experience with business and client relationship development; familiarity with AutoDesk software; MS Project experience.
